NicaMade is a business whose goal is to help Nicaraguan families earn a “livable income” by working with others in their community to produce and sell quality products throughout the world using Christian business practices. In doing so NicaMade wants to build Christian relationships and support the existing Christian ministries here in Nicaragua.

When looking at growing the economic viability of the communities it is important that work is seen as created by God to provide for his people’s needs. We bless God, ourselves and others with our work. If communities see their work as a gift to God and as a way to serve, to provide quality products for others, then they will be successful.

What many communities lack is knowledge of what they can produce at a profit and the capability to finance and market their products. NicaMade partners with the different missionary organizations to provide these services to the communities they are serving along with teaching classes on subjects as diverse as conflict resolution, servant leadership and business practices along with technical classes. It hopes to do so as a for profit company so that the future income of the communities is not dependent on the generosity of others but rather their ability to produce a quality product that others want to buy.

NicaMade’s e-commerce site went down and we are in the process of building a new and better site. In the meantime we have this static website.
